About the job

General objective :

He / she supervises the purchasing process required to carry out SI actions, in compliance with the procedures required under the AFD / CDCS project. He / she ensures that the mission is properly supplied within the framework of the AFD / CDCS project. He / she is the focal point for the mission and the link between the mission and head office for all matters relating to procurement for the AFD / CDCS project.

The main challenges :

Complexity of AFD procurement process and procedure.

Priorities for the first month :

1. Lead the revision and finalization of Procurement Plan Table with AFD template

2. Ensure the implementation of complex supply processes aligned with AFD guidelines

3. Training and communicating on AFD Log Process for all misison’s staff involved

Security constraints :

Few security constraint - context can evolve quickly but currently quite quiet

DIPLOMAS AND EXPERIENCE

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Experience in the humanitarian sector : 3-4 years
• Experience on a similar position : 3-4 years

SI will offer you

A salaried position : According to experience, starting from EUR gross per month ( base salary + 10% annual leave allowance paid monthly) and a monthly Per Diem of USD .

SI also covers accommodation costs and travel expenses between the expatriate's country of origin and the place of assignment.

Breaks : During the assignment, a system of alternation between work and time off is implemented at the rate of 7 working days every three months (with a USD break allowance, allocated by Sl). To these breaks periods, SI grants one additional rest day per month worked.

Insurance package : Expatriates benefit from an insurance package which refunds all healthcare expenses (including medical and surgical expenses, dental care and ophthalmological expenses, repatriation) and a welfare system including war risks. Essential vaccination and antimalarial treatment costs are refunded.
