About the role :

As a Middle Python Software Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

The client is a leading innovator in AI-powered Anti-Money Laundering (AML) solutions, providing advanced technology to fintechs, banks, and regulatory bodies on a global scale. The mission focuses on enhancing trust in financial transactions while enabling compliant and innovative business growth.

By leveraging cutting-edge technology, the company empowers businesses to expand into new markets and introduce transformative products. The solutions are designed to assist financial organizations in combating financial crimes linked to money laundering, which are often tied to broader malicious activities such as terrorist financing, narcotics trafficking, and human trafficking—all of which have a detrimental impact on the global economy.

Through intuitive Unsupervised and Semi-Supervised AI solutions, the company enables clients to effectively manage risk, detect money laundering schemes, identify operational inefficiencies, and uncover valuable growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable data processing and machine learning pipelines using the latest big data technologies in a fast-paced agile environment
Investigate and explore new technological areas, gaining an in-depth understanding through rapid self-learning
Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to create scalable and sustainable design solutions
Take ownership of product development across all lifecycle stages, including : Translating product requirements into actionable designs and tasks Development and unit testing (UT) Troubleshooting and maintenance in production

Requirements

At least 3 years of hands-on development experience

Proven experience in developing data-oriented products, preferably using Python

Familiarity with distributed databases such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, etc.

Experience in developing microservices-based architectures

Experience working in container-based environments using tools like Kubernetes (K8s) and Helm

Strong background in software development in an Agile environment

Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting with a focus on results

Desirable

Experience in machine learning FWs such as SKLearn, Tensorflow

Experience with RedHat OpenShift

Dev Environment knowledge : GIT, Jenkins, Docker

Experience in data processing FW such as Spark, Pandas, Hadoop, Airflow

Experience developing Java
