The role We're looking for an Engineering Manager based in Ukraine to lead two teams that work on the development of the next-generation version of the Ideals VDR product. This is a fully remote role where you’ll work with a sharp, experienced, and motivated team to solve complex business and technical challenges.As a key leader, you’ll lead the delivery, optimize team performance, and foster a culture of ownership, quality, and collaboration. What you will do
- Lead and inspire cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions with excellence and speed
- Set and drive the technical vision in close collaboration with strong Technical Leads
- Hire, develop, and retain top engineering talent — you're not just a manager, you're a coach and enabler
- Define and refine team processes to ensure high-quality outcomes, efficient delivery, and continuous improvement
- Build a clear and realistic roadmap with Product Managers and ensure the team backlog is well-prioritized and aligned
- Plan and manage team capacity, resources, and risk, balancing delivery and innovation
- Be the communication bridge between tech and business, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and informed
- Proactively identify bottlenecks in development practices and implement improvements
What you bring
