About the Role
Pragmatike is recruiting on behalf of a European deep-tech company building a decentralized, energy-efficient alternative to traditional cloud providers . Their platform operates on distributed bare-metal infrastructure with advanced automation, delivering sovereign, high-performance compute for modern workloads.
We are seeking a Senior / Lead Backend Engineer (Staff-level mindset) with strong expertise in Go and production-grade peer-to-peer (P2P) systems .
to join the CPU / Storage team , which is expanding the platform beyond GPU workloads into CPU-based compute, containerized applications, virtual machines, and distributed block storage .
This role sits at the core of the company’s next growth phase : building the backbone of a multi-cloud, decentralized compute platform .
You will work on the foundations of vCPU infrastructure, HPC storage, VM orchestration, and container platforms that power enterprise, AI, and high-performance workloads. This is a highly technical, hands-on role focused on distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and production-grade backend services , with strong ownership, autonomy, and architectural responsibility.
About the Team
The CPU / Storage team is responsible for expanding the compute platform beyond GPUs into :
- CPU-based workloads
- Containerized applications
- Virtual machines (VMs)
- Distributed block storage
- Multi-cloud orchestration infrastructure
