POSITION OBJECTIVE: ● The Embedded developer is responsible for the implementation of embedded computer software in conjunction with hardware product development.

RESPONSIBILITIES: ● Develop embedded software on microprocessors using C or C++ within an RTOS environment ● Manage multi-tasking architectures and real-time operations to ensure optimal system performance ● Control the full software development life cycle (SDLC) for Linux and Android-based OS projects ● Port and customise the BSP (Board Support Package) for the Linux and Android platforms ● Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug complex software and system-level issues using advanced debugging tools ● Collaborate on hardware-software inegration by leveraging a strong understanding of digital circuits and schematic layouts QUALIFICATIONS: ● Experience with Linux/Android BSP development and kernel level driver skills ● Experience with Linux/Android bootloader (U-boot, LK, etc.) ● Familiarity with Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) and Android Radio Interface Layer (RIL) ● Familiarity with Android build system ● Developing real-time embedded software in C or C++ ● Ability to utilize and/or code various embedded communication protocols (UART, I2C, CAN) ● Familiarity with wireless communications protocol stacks such as WiFi/Bluetooth/NFC and cellular radios (GSM, CDMA, UMTS, LTE) ● Familiarity with power management techniques for battery powered devices.
