We are looking for an experienced Senior Adobe Commerce (Magento) Back-End Engineer -   Freelancer to join our global e-commerce team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain high-quality backend solutions for large-scale, international digital commerce platforms. You will work on custom module development, system integrations, performance optimization, and help shape modern, headless commerce architectures used by leading global brands.

• 5+ years of commercial experience  working with Magento 2 backend (development, customization, integrations)
• Strong understanding of  Magento 2 architecture , backend services, and extension development
• Practical experience with  headless commerce , modular architectures, and API-driven integrations
• Expertise in  PHP , Magento 2 backend development, and custom module creation
• Solid understanding of  MySQL , query optimization, and database performance
• Strong experience with  REST / GraphQL integrations
• Knowledge of caching, indexing, and performance tuning in Magento
• Awareness of secure coding standards and best practices
• Strong focus on code quality, maintainability, and clean architecture
• Proactive problem-solving and ownership mindset
• Ability to communicate confidently in  English
