Part-Time Online Instructor (Contractor)
Product Analytics & Trend Watching
Location: Remote Type: Independent contractor, hourly
About eTalk Live
eTalk Live (etalklive.com) runs live, small-group online training for working professionals. We are launching a Product Analytics track for a cohort of European entrepreneurs and small business owners, and we are looking for an instructor to lead it.
The role
You will teach live online sessions to small groups (typically 5–10 learners) of founders and small business owners across Europe. These are not computer science students — they run real businesses and want to make better decisions with the data they already have. Your job is to make analytics practical, not academic.
You will deliver sessions, give feedback on learners' own metrics and dashboards, and help us keep the curriculum current.
What you will teach
Core product and business metrics: activation, retention, churn, LTV, CAC, unit economics
Funnels, cohorts, and segmentation — how to read them and what to do about them
Setting up and interpreting analytics tools (GA4, Mixpanel/Amplitude, Looker Studio or similar)
Turning data into decisions: pricing, feature priorities, marketing spend
Trend watching: monitoring market and category signals, competitor tracking, Google Trends and search demand, industry reports, and using AI tools to spot shifts early
Simple, repeatable reporting that a small team can actually maintain
What we are looking for
Hands-on experience in product analytics, growth, or data-driven product management (agency, startup, or in-house)
Experience teaching, mentoring, or running workshops — you can explain a cohort chart to someone who has never seen one
Comfortable working with small businesses and their constraints (small budgets, no data team)
Fluent, confident English (C1+); able to hold a room online
Availability during European evening hours (CET/CEST)
Reliable setup: stable internet, good audio, quiet space
Nice to have
Experience founding or operating a small business yourself
Familiarity with European markets and the SME context
Additional languages (German, French, Spanish, Polish, Ukrainian)
Experience building a curriculum from scratch
Terms
Hourly contractor rat
Monthly payout
Flexible schedule, agreed cohort by cohort
Ongoing work for instructors who perform well — we run cohorts continuously
How to apply
Send a short note to hr@etalkschool.com with:
A brief summary of your analytics and teaching experience
A link to your LinkedIn or portfolio
Your hourly rate expectation and weekly availability
Optional but appreciated: a 2–3 minute video where you explain one analytics concept as if to a business owner
