Data Engineer / BI Developer (part-time)

Throughout the decades, QMD has grown significantly and now serves global medical device customers from manufacturing sites across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and India.

The project is to build a new BI solution that will pull data from the customer's databases (ERP, CRM solutions) and build a data warehouse. On top of the DataWarehouse, a set of reports, dashboards and ad hock analysis will support business users to understand how business is performing.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience working on data-related projects.
• Proven hands-on experience with the Azure Cloud Platform.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (preferably SQL Server).
• Solid experience with Azure Data Factory (pipeline development, scheduling, debugging, failure recovery, and QA).
• Experience with Power BI (report creation, DAX, bookmarks, Power BI Service and Desktop, Power BI Apps, permissions setup).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
