Geologist (Geophysics)

Description

We are seeking skilled Geologists focusing on Geophysics for a project in the Oil & Gas industry.

The primary task involves annotating seismic images to select relevant horizons and faults and creating a database of annotated pictures. The project duration is 3-6 months, with a potential for extension.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a dynamic project with potential for growth and extension.

The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Utilize provided software to display and annotate seismic images
• Focus on marking horizons, faults, or areas that are unreadable
• Perform accurate and thorough annotation of seismic images
• Conduct double-checks on previously annotated images to ensure accuracy
• Mentor and guide less experienced team members
• Seek advice from more experienced colleagues when necessary
• Ensure high-quality annotations
• Manage and organize annotated data efficiently
• Collaborate with other team members to meet project goals
• Adapt to new tools and technologies as needed
